A warm welcome to my new blog, which I have discovered by accident.

I have decided to make this a journal of my fishkeeping activities in the first instance, and will see what develops from thereon.

Firstly, I will be introducing the denizens of my aquaria and writing about the successes, failures and disasters that I have in the hope that these postings will be of help to other fishkeepers.

I would like to welcome comments and suggestions as to what I am doing right or wrong. Once I understand how to use the board a bit better, I will be sending out invitations to my various 'fishkeeping' friends.

I look forward to many happy hours of blogging in the future.

Nigel is the first of my fishkeeping friends to add their bit to the board. He is now starting to keep Mbuna and Tanganyikans, so this represents our first expansion.

A belated thanks to both Matthew and Angie for adding their input to this blog. I would like to think that their contributions are both interesting and informative to our more 'random' readers.

Hopefully, we will be getting a few more posts from other fishkeepers in the near future.. and, of course, more from Nigel, Matthew and Angie!

Do we have any readers who can help fill out the sections on livebearers, anabantoids, catfish, loaches etc. as we appear to be a bit 'cichlid-heavy'?
