I have just had a disaster with my Carpinte fry in as much as they have been killed off one by one over the last 4 weeks with some mysterious illness. I have checked the water parameters and found no ideas there, and have treated the water with both Myxazin for bacterial infections, and then with Protozin for parasitic infections, both with no luck.

My problem now is that I have an empty, potentially lethal tank and I would like to sterilize it as soon as possible and get it running again.

Obviously, using boiling water on the tank glass is a no go, so I would like to know if anyone has a good recommendation for cleaning the gravel, filter, tank etc. Unfortunately, I do not have the cash for an autoclave, as I spent all of this on the fish tanks!
